AWC Van: A Gift of Mobility, Opportunity, and Hope

A gift that moves people forward

Thanks to the Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta and a generous anonymous donor, that barrier just grew smaller. Amani Women Center welcomed a new 15-passenger van into our work, and it is already making a meaningful difference. The vehicle allows us to safely transport participants to our programs and community events.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to the Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta and the anonymous donor whose generosity made this possible. Their support demonstrates the power of partnership and the impact that compassionate community investment can have on the lives of refugee families.

More than a ride

At Amani Women Center, we empower refugee women and survivors through workforce development, social services navigation, and pathways toward long-term self-sufficiency. None of that work happens if women can’t reach it. Every route the van travels is a route toward opportunity, connection, and belonging.
