AWC Helps Refugee Children Put Their Best Foot Forward.

Amani Women Center  – “SOLE-MATE COMMUNITY OUTREACH DAY A HUGE SUCCESS!” We distributed over 600 pairs of shoes.

Our partners and sponsors that made it possible – Decatur Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Samaritan’s Feet, Amani Women Center, & Solid Foundation!

We have used funds to provide Hope Tote drawstring bags containing new athletic shoes and socks, a hygiene kit, and encouraging messages to our community.

Shoes & hygiene kits provided to refugee families from – Afghanistan, Congo, Ethiopia, Burma, Eritrea, Somalia, Rwanda, Sudan, Burundi, Syria & Nepal etc.
